Please join us for the Virtual Gombin tour to the iconic wooden Gombin Synagogue that stood at the heart of the Jewish community for 300 years until it was destroyed by the invading Nazi army in 1939. See the haunting film made by Wojtek Wasilewski and his team using their architecturally-correct, scale model and listen to the words of Gombiner Henry Greenbaum remembering Yom Kippur in the 1930s. Finally, we view the proposed memorial plaque in its anticipated location in the center of Gąbin. Invite your friends and family to watch.
Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 2pm, EST.
Invite other family and friends to join. Bernie Guyer will lead the tour with help from Vicky Fingeroot, Anita Greenbaum Brush, and Steve Prosperi.
